Delicious! 🤤🤩 Wonderful cocktails, friendly service, fun vibe! I had the color purple, yummy! & haymanns tea. Both great! Husband had an old fashioned & loved it 👌🏻

The best bar in New Haven, and it isn’t all that close. Interesting drink menu, friendly service, and a good vibe. Don’t get distracted by other options, this is your best bet for a good night

A must visit spot when visiting New Haven! I was really impressed with the cocktail menu. There were several cocktails I was interested in trying, which is a rarity for me. Drinks were creative and made with fresh ingredients. I opted for Honey I dew (tequila, honey dew, and kiwi) and Color Purple (gin, blackberry, lavender, lemon) which were both phenomenal and made with unique fruits. My partner loved his Earl Grey and lemon flavored cocktail as well. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend for a great cocktail bar in New Haven!

The food, drinks, and service were fantastic. The place has a cozy atmosphere. We ordered the Jerk chicken, Bag of fried chicken, and a Anchor Mule. The fried chicken was crispy, tender and delicious. The jerk chicken had good kick, but not over spicy and the anchor mule was a nice. Overall I would reccomend.

My visits to Anchor Spa are an exceptional experience from start to finish. The vibrant Caribbean atmosphere sets the perfect backdrop for a night out, with colorful decor and lively music that immediately transports you to a tropical paradise. One of the standout features each time I go is the bartender, Bianca. She is truly outstanding—personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the drink menu. Her cocktail creations are not only delicious but also beautifully crafted, showcasing her skills and passion for mixology. I have to note that the happy hour Monday- Friday from 5-7 is a fantastic deal, offering a wide range of options that are both affordable and high-quality. From refreshing cocktails to tasty appetizers, it’s hard to go wrong! My go to drinks is the Jamaican breeze, it never disappoints! Overall, Anchor Spa is a gem that combines great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and superb service. I am regular and proud to call this establishment my “home bar”!!!

Had my first visit here today with a friend and instantly loved the energy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great food, drinks, and music setting the perfect vibe. What made it even more special is that it’s a Black-owned business, and I was happy to support. The bartenders were exceptionally friendly and made the experience even better. This place is pretty close to the road and can be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. Safety measures like social distancing and mask protocols are in place. This bar has the most amazing cocktails - I looove the In The Weeds and The Colon Purple. But the best part of Brandon! Plays the best music and the best bartender. I’ve been here a few times because my friend love it here - they love the fried. I can’t wait to come back!

We had an AMAZING experience at Anchor Spa! As a Caribbean-American this is one of my new favorites in CT! The menu is so well curated with a variety of Caribbean cuisine. The saltfish fritters give my dad a run for his money, and don’t get me started on those dessert doubles! The drinks were top tier. The service was top tier. The music choice was top tier. The atmosphere was top tier. Our server Randy…TOP TIER. Everything was on point. We will definitely be back!
